Kannetje

"Dat kan mijn kleine nichtje ook" is a statement often used to belittle someone's work in museums or exhibitions, implying that it is something even a small child could do. This statement raises questions for me about the distinction between tinkering and design, and whether tinkering is as negative as it is often made out to be.
The vases are designed based on my fascination with how children often draw. A few pencil lines are enough to indicate a shape and color, and I found this technique particularly interesting in the way it creates a new form of design drawing.
